modeling Is the first step in the process. Objects usually start out as simple primative shapes and are then built up through a process of
subdivision to achieve the desired shape.
Our modelers are skilled at digitally sculpting all kinds of objects, structures and environments.
After objects have been modeled, it’s then time to add color and texture elements to them. Depending on the project textures may be painted
entirely by the artists, blends of painting and photography, or modified tiled images taken from reference photography.
Using the latest 3D and imaging tools, our artists take great effort to produce eye catching materials and textures. For architectural projects, extensive reference photography is taken to achieve the greatest level of realism.
Lighting is 99% of any composition and this is no exception in 3D Visual Design. Our artists use traditional techniques found in painting and
photography to capture the right mood and setting of a scene. Even the best modeling and texturing falls flat without the right lighting.
Our animation doesn't begin on the computer it begins in our heads and in our hands. The key to great animation is putting together a simple outline. We start off on the right foot, framing the idea behind an animation to make sure when we do get into the production, we are capturing the right feel.
Rough storyboards are put together and are then translated into rough computer visuals called animatics. This is used for approval of the duration and camera angles of a scene.
Rendering is where all of the hard work starts paying off. It's just a fancy way of saying the computer is drawing the final image or video frame by frame.
We use high quality software to develop and render 3D visuals and animations. We also house our own renderfarm which allows us to do the rendering in-house instead of having to outsource it. We can render 3D visuals in a wide array of styles to get the precise result you desire. From traditional watercolor or line drawing styles to ultra realistic photo-quality visualizations, you have the entire spectrum to choose from when picking a visual rendering style.
